Morán Valverde Station
Morán Valverde is the second station on Line 1 heading north, in the south of Quito. It serves the Morán Valverde, Turubamba and El Conde districts and is three minutes by Metro from the Quitumbe terminus.
Location and access
Morán Valverde station sits on Avenida Morán Valverde, one of the main roads through southern Quito, in the district that gives the station its name. It serves a densely residential area at the far south of the city.
Getting there: on foot from the Morán Valverde, Turubamba and El Conde neighbourhoods, or by feeder bus from the southern districts. It is a single Metro stop from the Quitumbe terminus.

The station has ticket offices for buying and topping up the Metro Q card, automatic machines, access gates, lifts and escalators for priority passengers, information screens showing waiting times, CCTV and security staff. The station is fully accessible for passengers with reduced mobility.

Morán Valverde station operates every day of the year, including public holidays:

- Saturdays: 07:00 – 23:00
- Sundays and holidays: 07:00 – 22:00
- Frequency: roughly every 5–10 minutes depending on demand
