El Ejido Station — Quito Metro Line 1
El Ejido Station is the ninth stop on Line 1, on the boundary between the Historic Centre and the modern city. It sits beside El Ejido park and the Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana, and connects with the Ecovía.
Location and access
El Ejido Station stands beside El Ejido park, on the Avenida 10 de Agosto corridor, where the Historic Centre gives way to the modern city. It is the best-connected station for Quito's cultural attractions.
Getting there: by Ecovía along the eastern corridor, by bus on 10 de Agosto and Avenida Patria, or on foot from La Mariscal and the Historic Centre.

La Mariscal
The nightlife district of bars, restaurants and hotels, next to the bohemian quarter of La Floresta.

The station has ticket offices for buying and topping up the Metro Q card, self-service machines, access gates, lifts and escalators for priority passengers, information screens with arrival times, CCTV and security staff. It is fully accessible for passengers with reduced mobility.

El Ejido Station operates every day of the year, including public holidays:
