Jipijapa Station serves the Jipijapa district, a quiet residential area of northern Quito just beyond Iñaquito. It is a comfortable middle-class neighbourhood with offices, schools and plenty of local shops.
Getting there: on foot from the Jipijapa and El Batán neighbourhoods, or by bus along Avenidas América and 6 de Diciembre and the northern corridor routes.

The station has ticket offices for buying and topping up the Metro Q card, self-service machines, access gates, lifts and escalators for priority passengers, information screens with arrival times, CCTV and security staff. It is fully accessible for passengers with reduced mobility.
