Iñaquito Station — Quito Metro Line 1
Iñaquito Station is the key stop for Quito's financial and commercial north. Built beneath La Carolina park, it opens onto the park's northern end and sits a short walk from the CCI shopping centre, with a Metrobús-Q link on the Central Norte corridor.
Location and access
Iñaquito Station lies beneath La Carolina park, where the Naciones Unidas boulevard meets Calle Japón, in the heart of commercial northern Quito. It is 200 metres long and 22 metres deep, with platforms on the lower level and the ticket hall above.
Getting there: on foot from the financial axis of Avenida Amazonas and República de El Salvador, by bus along Avenida América or the Central Norte corridor, or by BiciQ public bike.

Botanical garden and Vivarium
Both sit at the northern end of La Carolina park, the closest part to this station: the Quito botanical garden with its orchid house, and the Vivarium reptile collection.
La Carolina park
Quito's largest urban park, with direct access from the station: lawns, sports pitches and the El Quinde lagoon.
CCI shopping centre
Centro Comercial Iñaquito, with more than 300 shops, cinemas and restaurants, 5 minutes' walk along Naciones Unidas.
Station services
The station has ticket offices for buying and topping up the Metro Q card, self-service machines, access gates, three lifts and escalators for priority passengers, information screens with arrival times, CCTV and security staff. It is one of the stations where you can activate a Cuenta Ciudad account, and it is fully accessible.
