La Magdalena Station — Quito Metro Line 1
La Magdalena Station is the sixth stop on Line 1 and one of the system's five multimodal stations. It links the metro with the Trolleybus and several bus routes, just one stop from the Historic Centre.
Location and access
La Magdalena Station lies in the district of the same name, where the south of Quito meets the centre. It is one of the system's five multimodal stations, and together with El Labrador it was among the first pieces of infrastructure built during Phase 1 of the metro. It brings together the metro, the Trolleybus and several bus routes.
Getting there: by Trolleybus or bus along the local roads, or on foot from the La Magdalena, Chilibulo and San Bartolo neighbourhoods. San Francisco, the station for the Historic Centre, is a single stop away.

The station has ticket offices for buying and topping up the Metro Q card, self-service machines, access gates, lifts and escalators for priority passengers, information screens with arrival times, CCTV and security staff. As a multimodal station it also has interchange platforms for the Trolleybus and buses. It is fully accessible.
